Corporate Social Work: an Illusion?

This project discusses the topic of corporate Social Work ("Employee Assistance Programmes"). It suggests the idea of generating a nationwide overview of corporate Social Work and providing best practice examples. Drawing on the “Swiss Model”, the overview is designed to demonstrate where, at which companies, and to which extent corporate Social Work is implemented. Furthermore, the objective is to determine the methodological and professional approaches adopted by corporate Social Work in the field.

The study primarily uses data from focused interviews with relevant stakeholders and Social Workers working in the field.

One purpose of the project is to develop a guide for the realistic implementation of corporate Social Work in partner companies. Following research into the identified topics, the information gained is presented and taught at seminars and workshops for an interested professional audience and small, medium-sized, and large companies.
