Recognizing differences while emphasizing people’s equality is a central element of diversity-aware work. To implement this attitude in daily work, it is not only necessary to carry out a multidimensional analysis of existing possibilities and restrictions, but also to develop tools tailored to a specific context in cooperation with the practical realm which is both acceptable and feasible. 

This project addresses the question of how practical Social Work can meet its claim to honor diversity, equality of distribution, and participation. Based on best-practice projects and in cooperation with selected partner organizations, training concepts and the practical implementation of guidelines are developed. The goal is to effectively put them to practice during concrete anti-discrimination work in organizations of Social Work at the levels of client work, employees, leadership, and in cooperation with external players.
