We create television together with people with (learning) disabilities! We learn and teach: How do I conduct an interview? Who wants to be the host, and who takes care of content? What TV genre do we want, and what is it like to be in front of the camera? How do we handle language? How do I hold a microphone, and what tools do I need? How do I focus the camera, and what kind of support do I need? Do I prefer to create an entertainment show or a news program?

We develop research questions related to inclusive media work. What can inclusive media work achieve?

•    For the participants – people with (learning) disabilities:
o    Confidence and self-awareness, skills development, expansion of language competencies, etc.
o    Public visibility for people with (learning) disabilities
o    Learning about different areas of media work such as moderation, editorial work, camera operation, etc.
o    Potential creation of jobs or at least protected or supported employment, and raising awareness of the need for such opportunities
•    For the users of inclusive audiovisual products:
o    Getting to know people with (learning) disabilities and their concerns, interests, etc.

Research questions can be derived from items 1 and 2. These are relevant because this field has been scarcely studied scientifically and deserves greater public attention.
