This project, which is carried out in cooperation with the social psychiatry institution SH in Schleswig-Holstein, seeks to conduct a qualitative study on networks of people affected by psychological stresses. A special focus is on changes of social networks throughout the course of consultation and care in a social psychiatry institution. Drawing on empirical findings which suggest a relation between the quality of gained social relationships and (mental) health, the results derived from the study shall contribute to the development of interventions that promote networks and thereby health as such.
